Hello!

I know it sounds cliche, but fashion really has always been a major part of my life. Growing up, my grandmother and I made it a habit to carefully plan out my “first day of school outfits” each night before. She instilled in me the notion that I should always try to make a statement with my clothing because what you wear is an extension of yourself. As a shy kid, I carried this notion with me throughout my life and used my clothing to express myself when I felt like words could not. When pondering what career path I wanted to pursue, I  took a few fashion-related classes in high school and realized I could take something I already loved and turn it into a career. This realization pushed me to join the fashion merchandising program at VCU.

Over my past three years in the VCU fashion program, I have learned so much about the industry and had the wonderful opportunity to interact with so many amazing fashion professionals and peers. Through my college career, I have grown more passionate about creating and relaying stories through fashion as well as learning how to make fashion more sustainable in the future. I have experience in fashion show production as well as social media content creation and I am interested in branding, creative directing, styling, and exploring the relationship between clothing and media.

I look forward to exploring these various topics within the industry as well as growing more as a fashion professional along the way.

About me!

I’m inspired by the people, places, and things I encounter every day. Whether it be newly sprouting flowers or city buildings, I believe creativity can spark from anywhere. Below I have created a collage of some of my favorite memories during my favorite season, Fall.
